Kavşakkaya Dam is 25 km northeast of Kahramankazan District of Ankara. It was built on Ova Stream, one of the branches of the Ankara Stream, to provide water for drinking as a part of Ankara Drinking Water II. Stage Project. Kavşakkaya Dam does not send its water directly to Ankara; instead, it feeds Kurtboğazı Dam. The area is suitable for hiking and photosafari.
