About
Located across Hisarkapı and nearby Çengelhan in Atpazarı Square, this inn was built by Shaykh al-İslam Mehmed Emin Ankaravi in the late 16th and early 17th centuries to provide income for his foundations in Ankara. The inn is built on a rectangular floorplan, of mudbrick walls on stone foundations. It is a two-storeyed frame house with a roof. The building which lost its original architectural structure is now owned by the Ankara General Directorate of Foundations and used as a hotel.
