Beynam Atatürk Forest, located 50 km south of Ankara, near Ankara-Bâlâ Highway, is a residual forest with an area of 1,600 hectares of larch. Many wild animals of different species live in forest. There are 419 plant species and oak trees are also seen from place to place. The forest area is suitable for bird watching, hiking and photosafari.
