It was built by the Ankara Mufti Mimarzade Mehmed Şakir Efendi in the 18th century. It is a rectangular structure with a roof but not a minaret. It has a longitudinal rectangular floor plan, and the narthex consists of a wide opening carried by four wooden posts. The ceiling and cellar of the prayer hall are wooden. Its plaster mihrab and pulpit are authentic. There are graves with tomb-stones in the graveyard in the courtyard of the mosque.
