Recipe
Yarımca is prepared by first kneading an unleavened dough using flour, salt, and water. For the filling, minced meat and onions are sautéed in a pan, after which eggs are added along with spices to complete the mixture. The dough is rolled out into small rounds, a portion of the filling is placed inside, and the dough is folded in half. It is then fried on both sides until golden. This dish takes its name from its folded shape. Yarımca is traditionally prepared and distributed using the imece (communal) method on the first religious vigil night (kandil), which is regarded as the harbinger of Ramadan
