Flour is added to melted fat in a pan and roasted until its aroma is released. Milk is then added, and the mixture is stirred continuously to prevent lumping. Once the haside reaches the desired consistency, molasses is incorporated for sweetness and the mixture is removed from the heat. Melted butter, prepared in a separate pan, is drizzled over the dessert. If molasses is unavailable, sugar may be used as an alternative sweetener.
