Recipe
Bread tiridi is a traditional dish made to utilize stale bread. Water is placed in a pot and brought to a boil, then 6–7 eggs are cracked in and cooked for five minutes. In a separate pan, onions are sautéed, and dried minced meat is added. Tomato paste, parsley, red pepper flakes, and black pepper are incorporated and cooked together. The chopped stale bread is placed on a serving dish, and the cooked eggs along with garlic-infused yogurt are poured over it. Finally, the hot minced meat sauce is added on top. Bread tiridi continues to be prepared and enjoyed in Kalecik today.
