About
According to the inscription on the
door pediment, the building is dated to 1390.
Built on a sloping land, the building is of the
cupola type in terms of architectural features.
Its square prism-shaped body is made of masonry
rubble and its outer surface is covered
with faceted stone. On the upper part of the
body, there is an octagonal rim made of cut
stone. The dome, which forms the top part
of the building, was built with bricks, and
covered with stone. The marble entrance extending
outside the building is remarkable.
The cupola was thoroughly repaired in 2010.
