About
Within Ankara Social Sciences University, a treasury-themed exhibition area has been established in the former treasury room of the old Prime Ministry building. This space showcases documents related to the history of treasury and public finance. On display is the first vault chamber, built in the late 1920s, which once safeguarded the Republic’s treasury. The exhibition also features a significant collection of documents from the Late Ottoman and Early Republican periods — including bonds, insurance policies, and similar financial instruments — offering valuable insight into the history of Turkish economic thought and fiscal practices.
