Hacettepe Art Museum is dedicated to building a high-quality visual memory for future art enthusiasts. Through its temporary and permanent exhibitions, it reflects art memory, particularly the last 60 years, within the identity of a university museum. The museum aims to carry Türkiye’s contemporary art heritage into the future and to pass on an atmosphere where science and art meet to future generations. In line with this mission, and supported by its expanding and evolving collection, the museum strives to become a dynamic and vibrant space within the university campus, working in harmony with all academic and administrative units. Seeking to foster closer engagement with art and its collection, the museum aims to reach both artists and art lovers through exhibitions and events, in collaboration with the campus community and external stakeholders.
