St. Therese Catholic Church is located in Kardeşler Street, in Ulus district of Ankara. The most important part of the church building is the chapel on the first floor, all parts of which were restored in 2002. The main mosaic of the building was inspired by the Cappadocian churches and was made by the French artist Hervè Vital. On the right side of the main mosaic are depicted two great kings, David, who was promised Christ to be his descendant, and Solomon who built the Holy Temple. On the left is the Blessed Virgin with Child Jesus in his arms, on the right is the Christ holding the Bible in one hand and blessing with the other. The mystery of the Eucharist is told in the heart of the cross made by Madeleine Diener. The chapel’s light is due to the stained glass on the side of the columns. Six of these stained glasses were produced in 1914 by D.P. Dagrant in Bordeaux.
