These caves were carved into tuff rocks on the slope of İnbaşı Hill in the northwest of Çamlıdere Tatlak village. Some parts of the caves, which are multi-storey and connected to each other through corridors, lost their originality because of stone melting and cracking. The caves dated to the Byzantine Period were built for shelter and defence.
