It is thought that Hüseyin Gazi, who is said to be the father of Battal Gazi, is a saint who is estimated to have lived in the late 9th and early 10th centuries. It is considered that the tomb was commissioned by the saints of Khorasan. The tomb, overlooking a magnificent Ankara panorama, was renovated in 1378.
