The building is in Samsun Street, Sümer District. Built by Karacabey in the 15th century, the mosque forms a social complex with a tomb, fountain and double hammams. The walls of the mosque, which has the only example of the iwan plan type in Ankara, are laid with stone and brick, and topped with five domes. Its minaret is of glazed brick, and it is an important sample for its tile workmanship.
