Located within the Central Barracks of the General Command of Mapping under the Ministry of National Defense, the Cartography Museum holds the status of a second-class military museum. It was originally established on May 2, 1971, under the Command of the Higher School of Mapping and was reorganized in 2003. The museum’s collection includes old tools and equipment related to cartography, as well as various maps obtained from archives and sources both domestically and internationally.
