About
The Turkish Bath Museum preserves the Turkish bath culture, etched in universal and collective memory, as a whole and strives to pass it on to future generations. In addition to exhibiting the architectural features of the baths and the items used during bathing, the museum also interprets Turkish bath culture through the “henna (bridal) bath” exhibition, which depicts the role of baths in ceremonial life, and through reenactments of the “mother of the bath,” “father of the bath,” and “bullying” figures.
