Benli Plateau, extending at an altitude of 1,570 m and located at the Ankara Bolu provincial border and 36 km from the Çamlıdere district centre, is surrounded by forests. Being the largest plateau of Ankara, it is home to Çukurören, Güney, Osmasin, Yılanlı and Peçenek villages. There is a fire watchtower in Mahya Tepe with an altitude of 2,040 m in the region, where there are old and new plateau houses and small ponds. It is possible to reach Eğriova Plateau in Beypazarı through the forest road. You can ride bicycles and horses in the plateau. There are also caravan and tent camp facilities and the opportunity to create one’s own trekking routes in the area. In addition, Benli Plateau Festivals are held annually in the summer.
