About
It is a monument built in memory of the
rescue of Kartal Tepe from the Greek army on
12 September 1921 during the Battle of Sakarya.
The 32-meter-high-monument is at
Kartal Hill, 6 km from Polatlı district centre
on the Eskişehir-Ankara Highway.
