The mosque in Kalecik district centre does not have an inscription and was built by Şerife Hatun, mother of Şehsuvarzade Seyyid Mehmed Pasha, in the 15th century. The mosque, which is a rectangular structure close to a square, has a roof and a minaret; cut stone and bricks were used on its body walls. The plaster altar is authentic.
