About
Türkiye’s first museum dedicated to architecture and furniture was opened to visitors on December 25, 2008. Featuring 1,000 iconic forms and motifs traditionally used in the interior and exterior spaces of Anatolian architecture, the museum presents a comprehensive representation of Anatolian design. These elements were inspired by 30 different examples of palaces, mansions, pavilions, mosques, and houses, reflecting a rich cultural heritage. The exterior cladding of the museum building is made from imported red alder wood sourced from the United States.
