About
The Music Museum, established under Atatürk’s directive in the building of the Musiki Muallim Mektebi-the first conservatory of the Republic of Türkiye- has been open to the public free of charge by Mamak Municipality since 2024. Alongside a collection reflecting Anatolia’s 12,000-year musical heritage, the museum houses authentic instruments from various continents, bringing together Turkish and world music cultures with a contemporary museology approach. The museum offers visitors a rich cultural experience through its Türkiye Exhibits, World Exhibits, Corridor, and Office-Library sections, aiming to convey the universal language of music from past to future.
