Ankara 75th Year Hippodrome is in the borders of Yenimahalle district, on Ayaş-Ankara Highway. Ankara 75th Year Hippodrome, that was put into service in 1998 on the 75th anniversary of the proclamation of the Republic in Turkey, was established on an area of 1,383,282 square meters and consists of a tribune, the ground floor and 4 floors. In the tribune building, there are numbered boxes, observation terraces, and special boxes for the president and the diplomatic corps. It has a total capacity of 8,700 people, of which 6,400 are standing and 2,300 are seated. Horse riding activities are carried out for children with pony horses in the hippodrome. The hippodrome, which has a large picnic area and a park within its borders, is a suitable place to rest on days when races are not run.
