The mosque was opened on 27 October 2017 in Ulus. There is a congress hall, foyer area and parking lot under the mosque, which covers an area of 3,600 square meters, including a section for women. The domed mosque, where approximately 7 thousand people can pray at the same time, has 4 minarets. The mosque, where wooden and nail-free kundekari (the technique of placing small pieces of wood side by side to form a design) doors are installed, has a main entrance, two side entrances, 12 minaret doors and an imam room door and 38 window shutters. There are inscriptions engraved with gold leaf, mother-of-pearl, vineyard and ivory on the entrance doors of the mosque, which has 17 narthex domes.
