About
The mosque was built in the late 19th century. The main walls of the mosque, which is made of cut stone, has a roof covered with tiles. It has a wooden ceiling. There is an open congregation place to the north. The minaret of the mosque is in the northwest corner. The wooden ceiling covering the harim is decorated with geometric and floral motifs painted in various colours. The most striking feature of the building is the beauty of its woodwork. The mosque was repaired by the General Directorate of Foundations in 2006.
