According to its inscription, Killik Mosque, situated in Hacı Veli Street of Ayaş, was built in 1560. The rectangular mosque is covered with a tile roof. The main walls made of rubble stone are fortified by bonding timber. Known to have earthen roofs in the past, the mosque today has a hipped roof covered with Turkish tiles. The wooden minaret in the northeast corner of the mosque was added to the mosque later.
